Setting up and reviewing proctored exams
Configure proctoring for an exam and review flagged sessions.
Proctoring makes an exam credible by monitoring and recording each learner's session for integrity.
Turn on proctoring
- Configure the exam on the relevant program, and enable proctoring for its assessment.
- Decide what's required — camera access, ID verification, and any time limit.
- Communicate the rules to learners (see the learner guide, Sitting a proctored exam).
Review sessions
- Open Proctored Exams in the sidebar.
- Each completed session lists its integrity flags — tab switches, lost camera, multiple faces, and so on.
- Open a session to review the captured evidence and the flag timeline.
- Approve clean results, or void sessions with clear violations.
Note: Treat flags as signals, not verdicts. Innocent events happen; the review step is where you apply judgement before a certificate is honoured.
Proctored exam recordings rely on secure storage your operations team configures.
