Managing tenants and impersonation
Run multiple organisations and safely support them.
A tenant is an organisation on the platform with its own programs, learners, branding, and admins. Tenant management is a super admin capability.
Create and manage tenants
- Open Tenants.
- Create a tenant and set its name and branding.
- Assign tenant administrators so the organisation can run itself.
Impersonation (supporting a tenant)
To troubleshoot, a super admin can impersonate a tenant — temporarily seeing the console exactly as that tenant's admin does.
- From the tenant, choose Impersonate.
- A banner stays visible the whole time to remind you you're impersonating.
- Click Exit in that banner to return to your own super-admin view.
Note: Impersonation is logged in the Audit Log. Use it only to support the tenant, and exit as soon as you're done.
